What do we mean by “transparency”?
We mean giving engaged couples enough information to quickly determine which wedding professionals are right for them. That includes:
- Seeing all available vendors – not just the ones that have paid for an ad
- Getting all the details upfront regarding who offers what, and who fits your budget
- Knowing which vendors are endorsed by past customers and/or other vendors
Transparency is great for engaged couples. It’s also great for vendors.
For vendors, transparency means being contacted exclusively by prospective clients who:
- Have no needs beyond what you offer
- Can afford your pricing
- Have already decided you’re one of their favorites
In short, transparency means being contacted by qualified leads only - leads that have a high probability of converting into real business. No more wasting time and money on inquiries from brides-to-be who haven't reviewed your information and decided they like what they see or who don’t know whether you fit their budget or offer what they want.
WeddingBook is about organizing the local wedding industry into an efficient and transparent marketplace. In such a marketplace, engaged couples and vendors that meet one another’s criteria can easily find each other and interact. Busy brides know they’ve made the best hires at the right price, and wedding businesses know their marketing efforts are paying off by attracting the right customers. Everyone wins!
To achieve our mission, we’ve launched an ambitious goal to profile every single local wedding business in the U.S. - all 200k+ of them. We're well on our way, and we're confident that when we're done, there will be many more happy couples and wedding pros out there. And that makes us happy.
