Music Speaks Volumes provided the DJ services for my wedding on May 22, 2010. My husband and I were very satisfied with Jonn's services and he exceeded our expectations. From the beginning of our business relationship and throughout, John was professional, responsive and easy to communicate with. He took the time to talk with me on several occasions and listened to my vision for what I wanted my wedding music to be, which was important to me because I had pretty specific ideas on what I wanted. I also had a budget for my music and he heard that and didn't try to up-sell me like other vendors that I had interviewed. He was the most reasonably priced DJ of the seven vendors that I contacted. Having experienced his work first hand, I can tell you that MSV is a great value for the price. The things that really stand out for me are: John and his colleague played a mix of music that all age groups enjoyed - there was a natural flow to the event music and I received many unsolicited compliments from my guests (of all ages) that they thought the music was excellent. I interviewed seven different DJ's before settling on MSV. I was adamant about the fact that I did not want a typical obnoxious "emcee"-type DJ. He worked well with my venue to ensure that he kept the party on schedule (with the toasts, special dances etc.) but he wasn't an "in-your-face" guy. I've been to weddings and other events where the DJ was a total turn-off to the guests and John was the opposite of this - he and his partner were approachable and the music seemed seamless throughout the night. They always seemed to be really enjoying themselves and they let the party happen around them - they were not in the way. We also really appreciated that he included photography of our event from the Dj's perspective. Some of the shots he took were as good as my photographer's pictures. I would most definitely use him again and I recommend him wholeheartedly.
