I hired Meg/La Partie Events for full wedding coordination as well as floral design and am so thrilled that I did so! Meg is so easy to work with, honest and friendly. I believe she is the type of wedding planner that will really be as involved as you need her to be. She can be there to guide you and help if you have a pretty strong idea about what you’d like to do, but she can also take the reins and create an unforgettable wedding. Most importantly she created a budget for my wedding and helped me stick to it! Her floral design and overall “art direction” were amazing. She has a strong eye for color and detail. On the day of the wedding myself, my bridesmaids and my family didn’t have to worry about a thing – we didn’t have to set up, clean up or coordinate anything. Megan kept us all on time, made the room look stunning and did it all with a smile. She even surprised us by leaving some of the beautiful flowers as well as champagne and snacks in our suite for after the wedding. I would highly recommend Meg and La Partie for any of your wedding planning or floral needs! The historic Queen Mary in Long Beach California is the place to have a truly unique and vintage themed wedding. The ship itself is absolutely stunning, each ballroom is beautiful. The staff is professional, helpful and really goes out of their way to make sure your special day really is special! It isn't cheap, but you get a lot for your money - Ballroom, passed appetizers, cheese/veggie station, salad, entree, no cake cutting fee, linens, room for bride & groom, parking etc. all included in the per person price. I highly recommend the Queen Mary for any bride looking for a truly unforgettable wedding!
