Chris King Band

Allow me to introduce the Chris King Band (CKB). The CKB has been playing throughout the state of Colorado since 1999, although we recently changed our name from Southern Cactus to the Chris King Band. We are a country band that plays a great variety of old and/or new country, as well as a smooth mix of classic rock, and we have great fun getting the crowd involved, whether it is an adult crowd or a family environment. We’re happy to help organize or emcee any special announcements or activities you might have in mind, and meet with you in person to discuss special details, or this can also all be done over the phone if that is more convenient. Making sure your event runs smoothly, the way you want it, so that you will have nothing to worry about except your guests having a good time, is our main goal! It’s all about the energy! For weddings, we are happy to learn your bride and groom dance, and your father and daughter dance, if we don’t already know it, and we will be happy to emcee all of the wedding events prior to everyone dancing, such as the bouquet and garter toss, the cake cutting, and the best man’s toast. Please feel free to contact us for references. Our fees are dependent on location, time, and ease of load in. If extra time is requested at the event, the cost would be decided ahead of time by you and me and by the hour. Working within your budget is always our goal. Night clubs are a different ballgame, and will depend on agreements reached between the band and the management.
