My name is Sherry Hammonds and I have the best job ever!!

Photography has always been a part of my life.
My dad has the bug and he passed it on to me along with his old camera that I still use when I shoot film.

I graduated from UT in 2000- with a degree in film and photography. For 7 years, I learned from the best in the news business- that’s how I learned how to think and shoot like a photojournalist. I not only learned to be quick and sharp, but to capture moments as they unfold in a candid and documentary style.

I get to go to weddings almost every weekend! I truly enjoy being at these very special events- it's really a privilege to be allowed and trusted to document it all.

My ultimate goal is to give you the best photos you can imagine- this became even more clear to me after my own wedding.
When it's all said and done, all you have left to remember your big day by are the photographs. They should have captured your day so you can remember it for years to come.

And another thing- I promise I won't make you strike a pose!
