I used Laura Stikeleather of Stikeleather phototgraphy for my May wedding this year. I intially found her on theknot.com and contacted her (as I had pushed finding a photographer to the last minute lol). I was immediately contacted back by Laura at which time we set up a consultation. Prior to the consult I was happy with the prices she offered and what I would be getting for my dollars. I was also excited to find that you get the copyrights to your photos upon their completion, which is not something that all photographers I looked at were offering...the bonus in this being the pics from your day are yours to even years later do with as you please. Upon meeting Laura I was even more impressed, she was very warm and friendly and happy to answer any of the many many questions I asked. She had examples of her work ready and was such a pleasure at our initial consult to work with that unbeknownst to her, I decided I wanted her the moment I walked out of the door. For the services we would be receiving I and my fiancee were happy with the price of her services and found them to be competitive and even better than some other photographers we'd looked at - its also a plus that you can customize her offered packages to suit you if you can't find one you like. The day of the wedding Laura was an absolute joy to work with and be around and I received comments from more than one of my guests about how good she was and blended so seamlessly that without her camera people thought she was one of the guests. Laura got ALL of the shots I requested and some I didn't even know I wanted...she was very thorough and made sure that everything moved in a smooth and timely manner so as we stayed on track with the evening's timeline. Laura also did not leave until she made sure I'd gotten every shot that I wanted; I didn't feel rushed or hurried or like she was trying to get the job done so she could leave. Not only did she give us what we asked for but Laura went above and beyond by making our photos creative as well as fun...definitely photos that I will never tire of looking at. Laura also brought along an assistant who was just as helpful and professional as Laura and who also captured some wonderful shots for us. I would recommend Laura and Stikeleather Photography to anyone...even if its not for a wedding day photography. THANKS LAURA! -Angel

Laura was fantastic! We could not have asked for a better photographer on our special day. She was professional, personal, and creative all in one. Thanks to her not only is our wedding day a day we will never forget, it is imortalized by her photos. Thank you Laura! Nikki & Jack
