Business DescriptionOak Lawn Farms is a historical home dated around 1827 that was built by the Kingsburys from Vermont. When General Sherman made his way south, the town square located five blocks away from Oak Lawn was burned. When Sherman and his troops made the short distance from the square to the house the Union Army made camp and stayed the night. Taking away the horses, Sherman was gracious enough to spare the house. Today we are one of West Georgia's most popular wedding and reception sites. Our prices are based on 12 hours which includes the complete use of the historical downstairs area and the private Bridal Suite upstairs. The Inn at Oak Lawn Farms is surrounded by lucious lawns and offers a large covered patio area for outside receptions. Our office hours are by appointment only. |
