Seasons Catering is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in both food and service. We love food and this is reflected in our approach towards the preparation and presentation of our menus. Our style of cooking combines classic techniques with an updated approach. Because of the wealth and variety of foods surrounding us, we focus on seasonality of produce and choose local organic products whenever feasible. Chef Gabrielle has spent years creating favorite recipes and menus for many occasions, and focuses on pairing flavors and textures together to bring out their potential and create a wonderful balanced palate for your dinning experience. Equally important is Seasons’ commitment to exceptional service. From our initial meeting to the day of the event, Seasons will work closely with the client to ensure detailed and informative planning. We will assist each client in developing a creative and unique menu, consult on rental orders, and provide additional vendor references to make your event complete. Our wait staff is experienced and knowledgeable in many facets of food service, and our attention to our clients’ needs ensures a special and personalized event. Gabrielle Moes is the owner and chef of Seasons Catering. In 1994 she graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara. From there Gabrielle continued her education at the California Culinary Academy, where she earned an Associate of Occupational Degree in Culinary Arts and interned at the acclaimed A Pacific Café in Kauai. Upon returning to her hometown area, she worked at the prestigious Wine Cask restaurant, became executive chef at Montecito Wine Bistro and was the executive chef at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club for seven years. Before starting Seasons Catering, Gabrielle completed the Business Education Program through Woman’s Economic Ventures. She continues her education by taking courses at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone and with memberships to Santa Barbara Event Professionals, Ventura Chamber of Commerce, International Caterers Association, and Women of Weddings. Gabrielle also continues teaching cooking classes so that she can share with others her insights and passion for food. Ultimately, we at Seasons Catering believe that our lives are made richer through the coming together of great food and great friends.
