Business Description
Back to Earth is a full service catering and geen event services company serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in local, seasonal organic cuisine, including vegetarian and vegan fare in addition to sustainably raised and harvested meats and seafoods. We are one of the only catering companies in the area that uses only organic ingredients, and the only catering company that used primarily local sources. We source all of our meats, produce and dairy from within 120 miles local to the Bay Area, and do our best to always buy directly from small farmers. We run all of our company vehicles on bio-diesel and use environmentally-friendly products such as post-consumer recycled office papers, toilet paper and paper towels, and biodegradable, phosphate-free dish soap and hand soap, all purchased from locally-owned and -operated companies. We pay all of our employees a living wage, and give away thousands of dollars per year in the form of discounts and donations to area non-profits and student groups.
