About Jake: With more than 4200 performances to his credit over a period of 20 years, Jake Reichbart has established himself as one of the most popular musicians in Michigan, with audiences including two US presidents, civic and industry leaders and countless other celebrities. Jake has performed for the Michigan Governor's inaugural ball twice. With over 375 wedding ceremonies performed, Jake Reichbart is Michigan's premier wedding guitarist. While well versed in the classics, Mr. Reichbart can arrange ANY special request, drawing from all musical styles, be it pop, rock or jazz, and can be heard live at his weekly performances in Ann Arbor. As a solo guitarist Jake Reichbart is available for cocktail parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, concerts and all other public or private events. Jake Reichbart has had regular weekly engagements at some of the Southeast Michigan's finest establishments (some still ongoing) including The Earle, The Kerrytown Bistro, Eve The Restaurant, The Blue Nile, Mediterrano, Goodnite Gracie, The Firefly Club, The Bistro on Main, The Del Rio, Palio, The Common Grill, Evans St. Station, Paesanos, Andiamos, Julio and Sons (at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn), The Skyline Club, and many others. During the summer of 2008, Jake Reichbart has performed every Wednesday evening at The Whitney Restaurant in Detroit. Jake has regular working ties with many University of Michigan departments. He is also a featured artist in the Michigan Humanities Council Touring Arts Guide (the 2009-2012 issue available now!), and as such, may entitle some interested parties to apply for a grant to cover a substantial portion of the performance fee. Jake is also a member of the Ann Arbor Federation of Musicians and the Ann Arbor Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. |
