I feel honored and a bit surprised to be the first one to write a review on White Lake Quartet from Bensenville (near O'Hare). They performed the ceremony and cocktail hour music for my wedding. I searched through about a half-dozen string quartet in the area for the best value and the most professional. Out of all of them they stayed in constant contact with me, had the largest musical library, and were the best for the price. I was even allowed to see them play in person before signing any contract. My guests remarked at how beautifully they played the classic ceremony music and how wonderful it was to hear so many different types of music (from Frank Sinatra to AC/DC) being played during the cocktail hour. They even learned "Here There & Everywhere" by the Beatles so that I could have them play it special for my parents. The only problem I had was that I had to be called out of the room for pictures so I was unable to hear them play all of my songs. That would be the only reason why I cannot give them 5 stars for Responsiveness, but they were certainly well above average and totally worth it. If you are thinking of possibly adding a string quartet to your wedding contact them.
