At Jacksonville Strings, we pride ourselves on our high-caliber musicianship, affordable pricing and great customer service. All of our musicians are highly trained professionals with extensive performance experience who have enhanced the beauty and atmosphere of wedding ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, anniversary celebrations and corporate events all over Jacksonville and surrounding areas. We offer many ensemble choices including solo violin, string duo, string trio and string quartet and in addition to providing a quality performance, will assist you in selecting music, as well as planning and coordinating all of the musical aspects of your event.

Jacksonville Strings was founded by Jessie Polanis, a professional violinist whose training includes receiving her Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from Jacksonville University and her Master of Music degree in Strings from Florida State University. Jessie has extensive performance experience as a soloist, small ensemble musician, orchestral musician and session player. During her career, she has performed with a variety of noted musicians including Bobbie McFerrin, Ricky Skaggs and Sleeping At Last and is proficient in a number of musical styles. She has also performed with many orchestras, including the Gainesville Chamber Orchestra, North Florida Symphony Orchestra and Valdosta Symphony Orchestra.
Through her work as a freelance musician, Jessie has also had the opportunity to work with some outstanding local musicians. She founded Jacksonville Strings with these connections in mind, enabling her to contract only highly-trained, top-quality local musicians for every event.
