Business DescriptionThe Kansas City based Metropolitan Ensemble is a Flute and Strings trio made up of full-time professional performers with years of experience. Their repertoire is extremely diverse. From formal concerts to weddings and parties, the ensemble has the experience and music to suit any kind of event. The Trio has performed together since 2000 throughout the Kansas City Metro area. Dana, Mark and Monty have played together in the St. Joseph Symphony together for 7 years, and played in other groups such as the Starlight Theater Orchestra. In 2004, they were invited to perform a full holiday concert at the Kemper Museum of Modern Art and Design. The Metropolitan Ensemble can also be hired as a duo, either flute and cello, or violin and cello for more intimate settings. One of the qualities that makes this ensemble unique is that you can request your favorite popular tunes because of the performers' flexibility and ability to play many styles of music. Mark Cohick is a specialist on the flute, clarinet, oboe and saxophone, so you can personalize your event. |
