Mike and his wife are more than just DJ's. They helped coordinate the reception and keep it fun. They organized everything from the toast to the cake cutting. I highly recommend Premier sound. They were extremely professional and made our reception fun for everyone.

Mike Westerman from Premier Sound is the only DJ you will ever need. He did an amazing job at our Wedding Reception. The dance floor was packed all night. It's now been one month since our wedding and our friends still talk about what an awesome time they had dancing at our reception. They tell us that we need to hire DJ Mike Westerman and throw a party every year for our anniversary!!!! With Mike Westerman, you do not have to worry about the events during your wedding reception. You can just enjoy your wedding and have fun and Mike will ensure that all the events (cake cutting, bouquet toss etc.) take place at the appropriate time. He knows how to get the dance floor going and mixes his play list such that everyone gets to dance (old and young folks alike). His services are very reasonably priced and you definitely get more than what you pay for! Make sure you go with Mike for all your DJ needs..you won't regret it!

Mike from Premier Sound was an exceptional wedding reception DJ. We had our reception in our backyard, and he was very accomodating to the outside venue. We booked Premier Sound a year in advance, and he was very responsive to our wants and needs. He went above & beyond to provide exactly what we wanted, and was particularly attentive to our song selections. We highly recommend Mike if you are needing a GREAT DJ service.

Great Music

Mike and his wife did a superb job at our wedding reception. He really did his research and played a variety of music we both loved that we had not even discussed with him in our prior meetings. He did a terrific job of not only organizing and structuring the events, but also making everything flow smoothly. We had a little bit of a delay getting to the dancing part of the reception due to our pictures and serving the food taking a little longer than we had anticipated, but Mike did an excellent job of keeping everything going smoothly and keeping my husband and I well informed on what would be happening next. We were also very pleased with the lighting package that we purchased along with the DJ services. They did a great job of setting the mood at different points in the reception. I would definitely recommend Mike Westerman's services from Premier Sound if you looking for a wedding DJ, or even a DJ for any event. His professionalism and personality make for a great event for sure.

Mike from Premier Sound was absolutely the perfect fit for our wedding. We had a small, intimate lunch reception following our ceremony, at Lidia's Loft in Kansas City. Because it was lunchtime and such a small venue, we didn't want to do a "dancing" reception, but we wanted some entertainment so that our guests could relax and get to know each other. Mike suggested a series of fun wedding-themed reception games that got everyone involved. It was so much fun! The guests got really into the good-spirited competitiveness and had a blast. Mike ran the show with humor and good nature - it is hard work to keep 50-60 people all engaged and entertained, but he did it beautifully. He is very respectful and works really hard to talk to you beforehand to ensure that he knows what your vision is. His price was very fair, and we found him extremely professional - definitely a high caliber wedding DJ we would recommend with no hesitation.

We were impressed with this company from beginning to end. We live in Des Moines, IA and had our wedding in Kansas City. It was hard to catch up with him everytime we came to town for wedding planning on weekends because he was always busy working other weddings. He actually took time out and drove up to Des Moines to meet with us to talk about our wedding! Throughout our whole wedding planning, no other vendor that has offered to drive up to see us - we were really happy Mike offered! It was very helpful/generous of him to do that. To top that off, he completely listened and understood what we were looking for at our reception. We had a black tie wedding at the KC Plaza - and he took it from classy to awesome dance and party! The entire night moved smoothly and was very fun! It was pass midnight and our guests were still on the dance floor. After the wedding, everyone commented on how much fun they had dancing and how the DJ played great songs. Go with Mike, you won't regret it.

Mike from Premier Sound really made our night something special to remember! He was very involved and guided us both along with helpful suggestions without being too pushy about his own preferences. We had no idea what we were doing really, we were pretty clueless. But with his help the night was ejoyable, relaxing, and down right fun!!! He even orchestrated a totally cheesey wedding party entrance--chicago bulls style, at our request and managed to make it a hilarious moment of the night that got everybody excited and ready to get dancing! We would recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic DJ for any event.

Mike from Premier Sound did an amazing job with the music for our wedding ceremony and reception. He made sure everything went smoothly, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Mike had great music to compliment our song selection. He was very quick to respond to any questions and emails leading up to the wedding often within minutes, and on the wedding day answered last minute questions. The service was really affordably priced and we would recommend Premier Sound to anyone looking for a DJ for any event.

Mike with Premier Sound was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He had great ideas and helped me with the planning of the reception. Also, we had a last minute change of plans and he was totally accomodating! He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had the proper sound equipment. I would definetly recommend him to anyone who wants great service at an affordable price! The dance floor was packed all night!
