Business Description
Dame Couture is part custom dress shop, part retail store, and 100% girly haven. Our dresses are inspired by some of our favorite dames—Audrey Hepburn, Lucille Ball, Lena Horne—and are conceived, hand cut, and sewn right here in Chicago, sweatshop-free and almost always made from 100% natural fibers.
Brides can pick a design from our line of wedding frocks and order them made to measure. Or they can work with Dame to create an original design, or restyle their mother’s or grandmother’s dress to make it work for a new generation. We also carry veils, wraps, handbags, and custom-designed fascinators and cage veils by Blue Bow Millinery.
