WORST FLORIST THAT EVER WALKED THE FACE OF THE EARTH!!

It has taken me 1 1/2 years to even work up to writing a review about Noel. If I could give her negative stars I would. She ruined my ceremony and my wedding day! On November 7, 2009 I was married at the W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. Before the wedding, I checked out the reception room as things were being set up and everything was coming along nicely. Although our centerpieces were Bonsai trees that I had selected and delivered myself so there really was not much for her to do there except setup some red rose petals and the table numbers. I did not think to check on the ceremony, which I now regret more than anything. My ceremony was supposed to have an acrylic four pillar gazebo, a variety of shades of red roses and candles galore. The ceremony was outside on an oceanfront terrace. There was supposed to be uplighting and an aisle runner and everything you would expect at a typical ceremony. Hours later my ceremony began and I proceeded to walk down the aisle, at which point I was in tears (NOT TEARS OF JOY!). There was NO uplighting and NOT A SINGLE CANDLE. I walked out to a ceremony in the pitch black darkness. The only flowers I got were two balls of roses hung from the gazebo. The gazebo, instead of being the typical four pillars, was only two. And there was no aisle runner of any kind. I was completely devastated. I had spent so long planning every detail of the wedding to perfection and I got nowhere near that. For over $3,000 I received two balls of roses, bouquets, half a gazebo, 10 table numbers, some rose petals on each table, and a seating chart. I did not leave the dressing room the entire cocktail hour as I just sat there and cried. I do not have one usable photo of my ceremony so everytime I even begin to make a wedding album I end up in tears and have yet to make one. AND THE WORST PART OF IT ALL...the hotel spent hours upon hours trying to get into contact with Noel and she disappeared off the face of the earth for days! They tried calling her that entire evening...she did not respond. The called her for days after...still not response. Finally my mother was able to get in touch with her. Her response to all this? She had somewhere to be that was more important than my wedding day. So she left her assistant to set everything up and he didn't get the chance to finish! Are you kidding me? I have one chance, one shot at a wedding day and she destroyed the memory I have of it forever. Instead of being one of the happiest days of my life it is now a day I wish I could forget. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO MY WORST ENEMY BECAUSE EVEN THAT PERSON DESERVES A SPECIAL WEDDING DAY!

Many thanks to Medallion Occasion Boutique! Noel and her crew created the most beautiful, whimsical decor for our ceremony and reception. She was able to get a feel for what I liked and what my *now husband is like and personalized the decor in such a FABULOUS and detailed way.
