Business Description
After gaining a degree in Illustration from USF & Academy of Art, Maria Lee taught herself Graphic Design and pursued a career in the respective field for 7 years. Sitting behind a computer grew tiresome, so Maria decided to go for her dream of becoming a make-up artist. With her background in art, she had no problem landing a job with a high-end make-up artist line, Laura Mercier, available at department stores. After 1 year of working with the line, she started freelancing for over a dozen make-up companies, making her a highly respected and sought after make-up artist. She started to work with brides and photographers within one year of working as a make-up artist.
Maria realized she wanted to expand her skillset, so in 2005, she took a trip down to LA for a month to take a hairstyling class at the famous Makeup Designory. She now works with photographers and brides doing both makeup and hair. Within the last several years, she has developed an impressive portfolio as well as a long list of satisfied clients.
