Elegant Echoes

Elegant Echoes plays a rich repertoire of traditional folk music from the British Isles and Ireland with engaging energy and sparkling sophistication. Liz Donaldson (piano), Colleen Reed (flute) and Becky Ross (fiddle) weave together sweet harmonies and melodies with lively rhythmic punctuation to provide the perfect accent to your event!

All members of our trio have years of experience performing for concerts, weddings and dances. Our musical arrangements of traditional melodies from England, Scotland and Ireland are tastefully elegant yet still retain their organic folk essence -from heartfelt ballads to lively dance tunes. If you have a particular genre in mind, we can tailor our music choices to fit; for example, Dance music for Jane Austen, Scottish Wedding and Ceilidh dancing, or Graceful Love Songs of the British Isles. For an additional charge, we can arrange to have a dance caller teach your guests some simple yet fun folk dancing!

Depending on the size of the event, we can provide a sound system or play acoustically if preferred. For outside performances we require shelter (e.g. canopy/tent) from sun or rain and there must be access to electricity.
