Gary-Michael Dahl Band

One of Houston's highest-rated bands for jazz, R&B, & Caribbean music according to Radio 95.7 KHJZ Smooth Jazz, SUNNY 99.1, and the Houston Parks & Recreation Dept. Selected as the Official House Band for the NFL Houston Texans. The G-MD Band performs R&B, jazz, Caribbean, Top-40, rock, latin, standards, zydeco and outstanding original material. Extraordinarly versatile and well known for performing a range of material far beyond the scope of typical bands. All members are virtuoso instrumentalists as well as vocalists. With nearly a 5-octave vocal range, Dahl can perform material ranging from Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Journey to Bob Marley. All members are college-educated musicians that work together amazingly well as a team and are easy to work with.

Gary-Michael Dahl has performed at many of Houston's largest events including: International Festival, Houston Livestock & Rodeo, Galveston Mardi Gras, Party On the Plaza, Jazz on the Plaza, SUNNY 99.1 Concert Series, Woodlands Concert Series, Sugarland Concert Series, Juneteenth, Reliant Stadium, Toyota Center, George R. Brown Convention Center, HEB Feast Of Sharing Concert, and many more. Gary-Michael Dahl has been selected previously to represent Houston in out-of-town concerts to attract conventions to Houston.

Band or members have worked with or opened for Earth, Wind, & Fire, Phil Collins, Peabo Bryson and more. Performed for Great Day Houston, Houston Rockets, Houston Dynamo, President George Bush, Mayors Bill White, Lee Brown, Bob Lanier, and Kathy Whitmire.
