We hired Jean-Paul Monsché and his band to play for three large parties of more than 70 people that we gave at our home (2 birthday parties and a "Bastille Day" celebration). The band came on time, were quite friendly and had an easy setup. The music was excellent with tasteful selections ranging from the French classics to Cuban jazz with original interpretations that brought enthusiastic responses from our guests. They really raised the party level in a unique way!

One of the few ideas my husband was passionate about for our wedding was having a New Orleans style second line band for the cocktail reception and ceremony. As it happens, that kind of ensemble is tough to find in Los Angeles, and some of the ones that are findable aren't very good. We were so happy to find Jean-Paul, who put together the most wonderful group of guys for our wedding. The music set the tone for the whole event, and our guests just loved it. We've also gone to see J-P live when his French Gypsy band performs at local restaurants. He has amazing versatility and his professionalism is beyond reproach. He's a really nice guy, too. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for good music - whatever you're looking for, he will deliver the goods!
