My name is Liz Mesler. I am newly married and know what brides today are looking for in terms of style, quality, and price. I can give you all three without breaking your budget! I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University at Buffalo with a Major in Photography in 2006. I started Photography by Liz in 2007.

My photographic style has a lovely range from classic to modern romantic, as I call it. It's creative, photo-journalistic, fresh, and just simply beautiful. I love capturing all the intimate moments between you and your new spouse. I want to create romantic images that you and your families will cherish for a lifetime.

Weddings are full day coverage with an unlimited number of shots. I will capture your big day from beginning to end with attention to the fine details. All of your images will be refined and enhanced through retouching, selective coloring, black & white, or sepia coloring. These effects are all done at my discretion and all included at no additional cost. You can request up to 5 images for custom retouching. (Such as if you want a background object removed, or a specific picture to have selective coloring.)

All packages include online event hosting and proofing, a free web resolution disc of images proofed for Facebook or Myspace, and 200 -300 images in a digital proof book to show off to friends and family. (It's a whole lot easier to show them than a disc on your computer - believe me! I've tried it!) Albums are custom designed to tell the story of your day.

It is my goal to capture the intimate moments throughout the day that go unnoticed. I am all about details, details, details! I love to take detail shots of all your accessories, favors, center pieces, cake, etc. I know that after all the time it took to pick all those things out, you may not even get a chance to appreciate them on your wedding day, but you will have your pictures to look back to and enjoy.

My photography style is somewhat laid back. I give direction when needed, but I'm never pushy. I like to say that I am more of a helpful assistant, than a guide. I also prefer to document more than pose. I will give you guidance as to where to stand or put a hand, but never make you "pose". I love to simply let the two of you enjoy each other and take in the moment while I snap away!

I have a word of advice, make sure that when you pick your photographer, you pick someone you will enjoy spending the entire day with! Because trust me, your photographer will be there practically every minute of your day. If you book with me, I will not be in your face or pestering. After every wedding I always find that I have made some wonderful new friends. I am truly excited for your upcoming wedding and can't wait to capture your day for you!
