Business Description

"Photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art." -Ansel Adams

Whitney Lee was first attracted to photography because of its lovely mix of technical concepts and artistic creativity. Years later, now that Whitney holds an honors bachelor's degree in photography, has over 8 years of wedding photography experience, has photographed hundreds of weddings, and has had her work published in several wedding magazines, Whitney still loves the medium of photography. "I adore the qualities of beautiful light," Whitney says, "when golden, soft light hits the subject in just the right way... and then at the perfect moment... I can't describe how great it feels when time, light, and space line up beautifully and I get to click the shutter."

Whitney gracefully blends her youth, experience and energy to produce images that manage to be both stylish and timeless. She approaches each wedding with an open mind, allowing her to capture the beauty that is unique to the event at hand rather than forcing a style or a timeline where it wasn't meant to be.

"Wedding photography is so much deeper than simply documenting an event," Whitney believes. "It is about being aware of the thoughts and feelings of the bride and groom and their families and then capturing moments that can recall those feelings for lifetimes to come. It is about sensing the style, happiness and grace of the day and making images that not only document those qualities, but are themselves stylish, happy, and graceful."
