The Art Of Digital Photography

ARTIST’S STATEMENT By Marshall Frey

Life can be viewed as a continuous stream of images moving through space and time. In my photography, I try to capture certain of those images and preserve them as works of art, frozen in time, yet alive within their moment. I see life itself as an infinitely vast, three-dimensional work of art, like a series of cosmic paintings occurring in the blur of an eternal, ever-changing present moment. Each of these moments evokes its own magical world filled with emotions, thoughts, intuition, passion and drama, encased in each subject’s own special relationship to his, her or its universe. My goal is to transport you, the viewer, to a place where the reflection of my subject’s experience can actually be felt through the prism of your own life’s experiences. In a way, I see my images as visual poetry which might forever have been lost, but for their capture by the camera lens in that perfect moment. When my subjects are people, I look for that fleeting, elusive instant when they are truly being who they really are, rather than posing or hiding behind a game mask.

ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL EVENT AND MY WORK

My online gallery at my website now features thousands of photographic images taken by me, which can be searched by event and theme. Children and pet sessions are also available for your family. I also do large events like weddings, parties, etc., in a photographic style unlike any other, as seen through the eyes of an artist, not merely a photographic record-keeper.
