Teamwork! That is certainly a word that defines our studio. Kim and I (Mike) started the business and from the beginning we realized how torn we were between all the things that a photographer has to do in a day. We quickly decided that we could do so much more and be better at what we do if we set up a team of professionals. From that point Jared and Christy were added to the studio and we now shoot weddings as 2 separate teams with Jared and myself being the lead photographers. We also have an in house editing and design staff that does work for us as well as for other photographers around the country. By having a team to focus on editing and design it allows us to concentrate on the photographic aspect of our business. With more time to shoot together and just simply practice we have not only seen our photography grow stronger, but our style has become more refined and similar between the two teams. We are looking forward to what the future holds and it is incredible to know we’ll get to share it together.

On a personal note we all have very different interests, but one thing we all have in common is that we love to have a good time together, and especially with our couples. Creating amazing photos involves more than technical ability with a camera……it takes personality, laughter, trust, and simply being natural. We joke with a lot of our couples that we are definitely not “photo Nazis” when it comes to how we handle your day. We do strongly believe that the images we capture are important, but we work with every client to see how much or how little planned photography they want instead of dictating what needs to happen. It is our goal for you and your guests to be amazed at what we captured and at times unable to remember seeing us capture it.
