I hired Heather Hare for an engagement session and for our wedding almost 6 months ago now. My husband and I were married in a VERY small ceremony with only close family in attendance at my parents' house, and I needed someone who would be able to fit in well with the atmosphere while taking excellent pictures of the occasion. Heather absolutely fit the bill. I and my family were so pleased with the pictures we got--not just of posed group portraits but of the great spontaneous shots that remind us of that love and fun-filled day. Since my then-fiance and I had never been comfortable in front of a camera, we were a little wary about getting engagement portraits done--but I'm so glad we did! We took pictures at our favorite places around the city, and Heather really helped us relax; I can honestly say she made us look better than we ever have in photos, and they don't look "pose-y" or sappy. They just look like we're having a good time and enjoying each other, which is just what we were doing. I really appreciate that included in the price of whatever package you choose is a disc with all your photos on it. It's great to know that I have them all and can print them or share them whenever I want--no going back to the photographer for individual prints long after the event, like some of my friends have had to do. I have been recommending Heather Hare to everyone I meet who's planning their wedding--good pictures are priceless, especially on your wedding day!
