Business Description
- Parsons has created stunning imagery that captures the joy, magic and and excitement of weddings for over 35 years. Originally trained in classic portraiture by a master photographer in Berlin, Germany he later studied photo journalism at Butler and Indiana Universities and is one of few wedding photographers, working today, who offers classic formal portraiture as part of his wedding coverage. He made the transition to digital photography 6 years ago and stays at the cutting edge by regularly attending seminars and workshops presented by some of the top photography and computer experts in the world. Over the years he has photographed in 17 different countries and his work has been published worldwide. Recent international clients have been from Nigeria, Kenya and Israel. His distinctive and innovative wedding imagery is often showcased in personally designed 'coffee table' style albums that he has hand crafted in Arba, Italy.
He accepts a limited number of wedding bookings annually because, even though he often utilizes assistants, he insists on photographing each wedding personally and never books more than one on a given date. He works politely and unobtrusively, never forgetting that a wedding is first and foremost a sacred ceremony. His wedding photography philosophy is quite simple, actually. As he says, " A bride and groom, their families and friends bring abundant joy, love and magic to the wedding ceremony. It's not necessary for the photographer to add a thing, only to artistically capture images of what is already there and to craft those images into lasting visual memories. A wedding should be all about the bride and groom...not the photographer."
Call today to see if your date is available and to schedule an informal meeting with R. C. Parsons so that you can personally view his award winning photography and share details of your own wedding with him.
