Photographer Carla Stephens has always enjoyed photographing family members and friends as a young girl. While capturing a few baseball games of her nephew and some of the other players, she learned the photos were desired by other parents and began freelancing for the team. Eventually she began taking small walks or hikes with a camera in hand and found beauty in the still life that surrounds her. With that, classes were taken to sharpen the skills and she found a classmate to allow her to assist in a few weddings. Today, location weddings and portraits are a core of her business.
