Business DescriptionI fell in love with photography in 1999 when I took a point and shoot camera to Peru on a missionary trip. It was then that I knew my future would include photography in some way. I purchased better camera equipment and went to Africa in 2001. My experience there was life changing, and the images I took — breathtaking. The more I began traveling on mission trips, the more camera equipment I began to bring with me. My missionary work began to shift toward photojournalism as I spent additional time in third-world countries. When I was married in 2006, my wife and I had a terrible experience with our “professional” wedding photographer; leaving us with only15 acceptable, and only a few really good useable images. We were not alone. After talking with some of our recently married friends, we discovered they shared our bad experience. It was then that I realized that I could offer above and beyond what any other wedding photographer could provide. This is when BROVADO WEDDINGS was born. To date, I have traveled to more than 15 countries on photojournalism trips. The skills that I have developed as an international photojournalist - shooting in stressful, difficult, and demanding situations - is one of the many reasons my wedding photography is outstanding. I shoot to tell a story. The images I capture are designed to be timeless, and evoke the very same emotions that were felt on the day of the wedding. Wedding photojournalism is a passion of mine, and I pray that you never let your future history go un-captured… ~Preston Palmer, Wedding Photographer and International Photojournalist. |
