Mary Beth Kratsas is an award winning photographer and artist with over 25 years of experience behind the lens. Her Studio, MBK Photography, is located in Monroeville, PA but she loves to travel and is always willing to go the extra mile (quite literally) to facilitate her clients needs. During the past two years Mary Beth has traveled to LA to photograph for the Cinema City International Film Festival with Suzanne Delaurentis and Ed McMahon. Photographing on the Red carpet and all of their social events and award ceremonies benefitting children and soilder burn victims from the Iraqi war.

Mary Beth began her photo education by studying at both The Ivy School of Professional Art and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she aquired the principals of photography and graduated with an Associates Degree in Commercial Art. Before realizing her lifelong dream and officially opening her studio in 2004, Mary Beth worked in the entertainment industry as a casting assistant for Nancy Mosser Casting and a talent agent for the Pittsburgh based agency The Talent Group. This experience of directing talent in front of the camera has blessed her with the gift to put her couples at ease in front of the camera also. Today, in addition to running her business, she continues to educate herself in the latest skills and photographic trends by attending classes and seminars at the Triangle Institute of Professional Photography studying with masters of photography and fellow members of the Professional Photographers of America and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals..

Over the years Mary Beth has photographed hundreds of weddings, and every one of those weddings has had it's own unique story. She knows that every couple is different and the little details of their day never go unnoticed by her keen eyes. This is because Mary Beth really connects with her clients, many of whom consider her to be their lifelong photographer. She is easy to get along with and fun to be around and as such she has a way of putting anxious brides and grooms at ease in front of the camera. She never just takes a picture, she captures a memory and tells a story so that you will never forget exactly how you felt on your big day.
