Shanell Bledsoe photographed our engagement photos and wedding photos, as well as my boudoir and bridal photos. She is very talented! For our engagement photos, we met her in downtown Knoxville where she took pictures of us on railroad tracks, in World's Fair Park, and by the Tennessee Theater! She made the evening very fun and relaxed! For my bridal photos, we went to a park in Farragut, Tennessee. She took time on finding where the best lighting was in the park. She photographed until she believed the photos were perfect and until I was satisfied with the poses and background! On my wedding day, Shanell worked extremely hard!! As my dad said, he had never seen anyone work so hard at taking photos! She was everywhere trying to get the best shots and best angles!! She was also very, very patient with my unorganized and crazy family when she took family photos after the ceremony. :) I am extremely pleased with my wedding photos and her creativity! Not only is she a wonderful photographer, she is reasonably priced!!!

We can't say enough great things about Shanell and her work! We worked with Shanell for our engagement, wedding, and trash the dress photos. She was amazing each and every time! Shanell also helped me create a unique and thoughtful gift for my husband. I gave it to him the night before our wedding.... all you new brides should talk to her about her wonderful boudoir photos. She somehow managed to make me feel relaxed and comfortable even in that situation. Shanell spent hours upon hours with us and drove all over the country for us. Our engagement pics started in one location and then we traveled about 30 minutes away to get the other shots we wanted. She then drove 3 hours to photograph our wedding and another 45 minutes for our trash the dress photos. We have already referred 2 other couples to Shanell and she is also doing our niece's baby portraits next month! We are so blessed to have met Shanell and will always think of her when we look at our wonderful photos!!!

Amazing pictures that capture the unique spirit of an occasion

I found Shanell and Bledsoe Photography online and fell in love with her work via her online galleries. Her work is full of life, and I felt like I was experiencing the events through her pictures. She offered a great variety of packages, and some great a la carte/ad-ons, too. Her pricing was extremely competitive - far and away the most reasonably priced I found for the quality. To me, the photography was one of the most important details of my wedding. Everything else (the cake, the flowers, etc.) will be gone after the wedding day, but the pictures will (hopefully!) last forever. Shanell worked with the vision I had while adding her own brilliant flair. She took her time in all of our sessions (engagement, bridal, and wedding day). She really captured the spirit of our wedding and managed to catch all the little moments that made the day so special. She took incredible pictures that my husband and I and our families treasure. Shanell is also a joy to work with, and was so eager to make our wedding-day vision a reality. When I decided at the last minute that I might want to wear a veil in my wedding after all, she brought a few from her collection and let me pick one to wear on my wedding day. Her energy is contagious, and her passion for her work is evident in her photos. I would choose her again and again!

Shanell traveled to Montego Bay from Nashville with us to photograph our rehearsal, wedding, and reception at the Tryall Resort and Club. I chose Shanell because I did not want the same kind of super-posed and predictable photos I had seen in all the destination wedding sites. We wanted someone who could capture all those random sweet moments that are not planned and not posed. This was by far the best bang for our buck. We all arrived several days before the wedding and Shanell spent much of that time getting familiar with the resort and discovering potential back-drops to use for the best possible photos. The result was incredible! We have had the hardest time trying to decide which pictures to print because they are all so good!!! Not only did we get some absolutely stunning and creative photos, we got so much more time and photos than we ever would have with a local photographer...and for a lot less money!!!!
