Business Description

My style is photojournalistic, and I pride myself on being everywhere I need to be, when I need to be there. I'm 36 years young and energetic, and I have a terrific eye. I work hard to capture those "less obvious" moments that will not just bring back the events of your wedding, but the feelings behind them - for generations.

There are a lot of good wedding photographers in New York City. Most of them overcharge. Many insist on permanent ownership of your negatives and "digital negatives", and surprise you with hidden fees for prints after your wedding. Some believe they're God's Gift to the Wedding Business - - they brag that the New York Times or Hampton's Magazine published one of their pictures, and write about themselves in the third person. Give me a break!

I'm different. I'm confident in my skills and artistic abilities, but my pricing is reasonable, and I've got the type of personality you won't mind working with closely on the most important day of your life.

I shoot color and black & white, and digital and film in the proportion you wish. For my digital color work, I've invested in Nikon's D3 digital SLR - by far the best-equipped digital SLR for fast-paced wedding work.

But it's my available-light (no flash) black and white work that sets me apart from NYC's most famous wedding studios. I routinely shoot weddings of couples where "money is no object" because of my available light black and white skills. I know of no one else in the New York area that has mastered - or even attempts - this very different style of photography.

Best of all, I don't nickel and dime you or use "bait-and-switch" tactics that surprise you with hidden fees later. I offer refreshing, straightforward pricing that is positively the best value in New York City: complete, eight hour packages start at $2,595. And for all of my packages, you're the owner of your negatives and digital negatives from day one.

To help you select a wedding photographer, I have prepared a list of questions that you can ask prospective wedding photographers. Please click here for the list.
