We were having a hard time finding a photographer locally (Miami) who shot in the style we were looking for -- non-traditional, journalistic -- as well as "got" us (my husband and I) as a couple. We not only found that in JB was suggested to me by my maid of honor, and after seeing the images on his website, I knew my search had ended. He managed to capture amazing moments with the discreetness of a fly on the wall, and by the end of the weekend, I felt like we were old friends. JB manages to be personable, friendly and outgoing while all the time remaining completely professional.

My fiancee and I are getting married in Toronto, Ontario, but recently moved to New York City. Without having any connections, we thought it would be great to take engagement photos in NYC, but quickly needed a photographer. In comes JB Reed. We weren't sure what we were going to get, after all, we simply found JB Reed through a few google searches and after reading a few other reviews (we went through alot of different photographers!). But we were glad we found him! We had some correspondence prior to the engagement shoot, and JB was spot-on for what we wanted. He was extremely flexible in structuring our shoot (location, time, day of week, weather contingencies, etc.). He was very easy to get along with, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Now for the best part, once we received our photos, we were extremely happy. Our wedding was fast approaching, and we needed engagement photos asap (to use at our wedding, etc.). JB turned the photos extremely fast following our shoot(as he promised), and the photos were fantastic. We've received numerous compliments, JB did an amazing job choosing photos to retouch. Out of the few hundred photos, he picked the very photos my fiancee and I would have chosen, and the final product was great. We will definitely be using his photos in our wedding. I have no hesitation in recommending JB to friends, and had we decided to get married in NYC, we would have definitely used JB for the big day - its too bad! Thanks JB for the great photos!
