I feel incredibly lucky to be able to make a career out of doing what I love. Even after years of working as a photographer, I'm continually amazed by the way the camera gives me a whole new angle on the world I see through its lens. I find working with and photographing people especially rewarding. My passion for capturing distinctive, truth expressions and moments-for documenting and preserving the looks and gestures that make my clients unique-structures all of my work. I think the result speak for themselves: artistic, fresh, and contemporary photographs in a photojournalistic style.

I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Puget Sound and studied photography at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the New England School of Photography, where I graduated with honors in portraiture.

My work has appeared in many national and regional publications, including The Knot Magazine: Best of Weddings. The Knot Magazine: Southern California, Bride and Bloom Magazine, The Boston Herald, and The Beverly Hills Courier.

My goal is to provide my clients with a customized experience and with thoughtful, honest photographs that are as unique and individual as they are. I know the best photographs come out of true collaboration between photographer and subject, so it's very important to me to set aside time to listen to my clients ideas and to make sure I understand expectations. I bring my own distinctive vision to every photo session, but I also bring flexibility and a willingness to tailor my work to your needs. I think the resulting images come from the relaxed, fun atmosphere I create-I want my clients to feel natural and at ease in front of the camera. That way, I can capture their real personalities, their styles, and all the little details that make them who they are.
