Business DescriptionFour nationally recognized newspaper photojournalists founded Red Box Pictures when the Seattle Post-Intelligencer ceased publication in 2009. Scott Eklund, Dan DeLong, Andy Rogers and Rob Sumner merge artful documentary photos and portraits to tell the complete story of your wedding day. We use our training and experience to capture the real moments and emotions that are the mark of true photojournalism. We combine our photojournalism background of capturing real moments in a purely documentary fashion with our ability to create stylized, magazine-style portraiture. So much time and effort goes into making sure every detail of your wedding is perfect. We recognize the need to capture every detail with our photos to tell the complete story of the day for years to come. Images that capture your personality and how you felt on your wedding day are the ones that resonate for us, and likely for you as well. It's not enough to just show what you wore, who was in attendance and what color your flowers were. When you look at your photos years from now, we want them to connect with you on an emotional level, and remind you of how you felt. Little things like a look, a touch or a small gesture can be missed if your photographer does not recognize their significance in the moment. We subscribe to the old photojournalist’s mantra of “arrive early and stay late” to tell the complete story of your wedding day. |
