An award-winning boutique photography studio, Kim Shokouhi Photography is located along Chicago's north shore in Wilmette.

Kim's interest in photography began almost 20 years ago during her first photography course. Over the years she has grown to admire the art and impact of lifestyle photography. This inspired her to begin her business in 2002 and has since flourished into a career of wedding photojournalism. Kim's purpose is to document your wedding day…your unique story. She photograph's weddings with an unobtrusive approach and strives to capture the true emotions of your individual personalities. The timeless artistic images you receive, will translate a moment in time – into lasting memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

Kim's photography is complimented by her degree in Communications, which allows her to adapt to various situations and create a calming atmosphere that will make your wedding day effortless.

On a more personal note…Kim's favorite things: her hubbie Jian; their girls Ava & Olivia, their chocolate lab Roxy, Colorado mountains, Mexico beaches, live music, traveling, weekend BBQs with friends, art & craft fairs, spicy Mexican food, delicious margaritas, do-it-yourself house & garden projects, and dessert.
