My husband and I got married at the Burge Plantation on October 11, 2008. I dont think we could have asked for a more beautiful location. Chef Andrew prepared a menu to our liking and worked with us the enitre way to make sure everything was perfect for our day. The food was amazing and the best I have ever had at a wedding. Neely was such a great help with any questions or concerns we had for the wedding. She helped to make the day run smoothly, so no one had to worry about a thing. Also, the wedding planner we used Angela was a godsend to my family and myself. I would highly recommed using her company Angelic Affairs to plan your wedding. The day was a truly an amazing experience for everyone made possible by the Burge Plantation. Having been a bride, I can tell you that the Burge Plantation offers you a beautiful location surrounded by history, an amazing staff and a day that you will never forget.

My daughter got married May 3, 2008 at Burge Plantation. It was a fairytale wedding experience!!! All the guests stayed on the property in large, very nice cabins (really homes) and on Friday night, we had a bar-b-que rehearsal dinner. The morning of the wedding, we had a brunch following a clay shoot and later on, the guys were playing football while the bridesmaids had their makeup and hair done. The wedding was outside at dusk, and the rehearsal was under a tent. The people at Burge were wonderful and made the whole experience easy and fun. I can not say enough about what a wonderful day it was. The food was fabulous, the chef is great and was willing to do anything I wanted. I reccommend Burge to everyone!!!
