Business DescriptionTimeless Wedding Videos (TWV) films and edits long documentary, short documentary and highlight wedding videos. The long documentary video sets usually consist of 3 to 5 DVDs that hold 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour edited footage. The long documentary video is usually filmed with two or three camcorders located at different angles so that nothing is missed. The short documentary video is a hybrid video between the long documentary and highlight video. It usually is 60 to 90 minutes long consisting of 1 or 2 DVDs in a set. It is usually filmed with one camcorder. The whole reception is not filmed in the short hybrid documentary. Select parts of the church ceremony and reception is filmed. The short documentary is what most videographers only offer. The highlight video varies from 15 to 60 minutes. In the long documentary filmed weddings, the pre-ceremony is filmed. The pre-ceremony is where the bride and bridesmaids get dress and the groom and groomsman get their bouteneirs pinned on. A lady videographer films the bride and bridesmaids getting ready and a man videographer films the groom and groomsman getting ready. The videographer also gives the groom the lapel microphone for recording the wedding vows during the pre-ceremony. TWV prefers to film the long documentaries with more than one camcorder so that no parts of the ceremony is missed. When only one camcorder is used, parts of the ceremony is missed when switching from the bride & groom to the priest, gospel reader, or vocalist. The camcorder is pivoted on it’s tripod when switching scenes. The pivoting motion causes the scene to become blurred. If you do not film the wedding with 2 or more camcorders, the only choice is to edit out this blurred footage which leaves out part of the ceremony. The edited wedding footage is either burned on the traditional silver DVD Disk or Archival Gold layered DVDs. Silver layered DVDs only last for 7 years because silver oxidizes. The Gold layered DVDs have a gold layer over the silver layer that prevents oxidation. The Gold Layered DVDs last for a century (100 years). The archival Gold DVDs are the best way to store photographs as well. |
